The goal of the Crusader’s Club Teens program at Baptist Christian Church is to reach out to the lost and unchurched teens in our community, witness to them, and disciple them. Eventually we hope to reach their whole family and encourage them to get involved in our church family.
Each week at our Crusader’s club we present the Gospel and teach teens sound biblical principles. Through the school year, from 6:00 to 7:30pm each week, we demonstrate to the teens that church is not a place that is boring, cold, and uncaring. We help create memories and build relationships that last well beyond the 12th grade. Crusader’s Club is a valuable program that our church provides to our community and all who are involved make a difference in the lives of our young people.
We continue to expand and find new ways to minister and be relevant to today’s teens. Social media like Facebook and YouTube provide ways to communicate with teens that’s both fun and familiar to them. We use Regular Baptist Press materials and focus on digging into the scriptures. We emphasize the truth and accuracy of the Bible and utilize apologetics so that the students are able to defend their faith in an increasingly hostile world.
